It is also written for readers who already know they will leave this site to complete their research elsewhere. The catalog pages are gateways, not destinations. When an entry has done its job, the listing button is the next step.
Canada is the geographic scope. The properties collected here span provinces from British Columbia to Quebec and Saskatchewan, covering waterfront resorts, mountain settings, downtown city hotels and countryside destinations within one editorial voice.
How properties are described — the same categories applied to every entry
Every card opens with the property name exactly as supplied, the city and province, and the category and star class. Those facts are fixed. The short description that follows is built only from them, together with the setting tags that shape the prose — casino hotel, resort, waterfront, mountain, downtown, countryside or historic character where given.
Setting explains place. Rooms are spoken of as the overnight offer of the property, never as an inventory. Dining, wellness and event space appear only when the property type itself implies an integrated destination. Surroundings close the picture: river corridor, lakeside, highland peaks or city centre.
What does not appear is deliberate. The guide does not invent restaurant names, room counts, awards, renovation years or distances. It does not attribute quotes to guests of named hotels. It does not rank one property above another.
